Safeguarding the future
Conservation is important to us, and we recognise the complexities involved with navigating the conflicting pressures on land use. With our unique mix of experience in ecology, conservation planning, heritage and spatial services, we’ll strategically deliver a holistic solution that looks to the long term.
Protecting natural values
Our experience conserving the natural environment includes working with government agencies on landscape-scale ecological assessment and mapping projects. Our ecologists have contributed to an enhanced understanding of threatened species distribution and threats with targeted surveys for species such as the koala.
We have designed greenspace networks to mitigate against land use pressures and a changing climate, with the aim of sustained ecological function and diversity at a regional level. The work we have done in the research and long-term monitoring of road ecology has improved the planning and management of multiple projects.
Conserving Australia’s past
Australia’s Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal historical heritage is an essential part of our nation’s identity, and we’ll assist you in identifying conservation priorities on your next project. We’ve worked with project owners, statutory bodies and local governments to identify, protect and conserve areas of significance and put plans in place for their continued care and access. Our belief is that the key to success on any project is community consultation, and you’ll benefit from our established relationships with key Aboriginal community stakeholders.
